The word “socialism” is in the air again, but what will it take to actually win power for the working class? Join us for a screening of the film When ICE Melts, followed by a debate featuring revolutionary socialists and organizers of the Minneapolis resistance this past winter.

As part of RI DSA’s struggle to build a socialist party of workers, we’re inviting organizations who share our goal of class independence to join us in this discussion — the first of many gatherings where we begin to chart a path out of the two-party system. Food included!

Featuring:

Kip Hedges, Workers Resist, Minneapolis union activist

Brittany Kubicek, Rhode Island DSA, candidate for RI State House District 5

Nick Wurst, Independent Socialist Group, member of Railroad Workers United

Rosa Pepper-Macias, Workers’ Voice, candidate for CT State Senate District 11

Sou Mi, Left Voice, member of Writers Guild of America
